Kingdom Arena Feeding Project in Luton
In obedience to divine instructions given to us on the 14th Dec. 2008, during a period of seeking the Lord, to reach out to those in need if we really want to see the power of God unleashed upon us Kingdom Arena started a feeding program on the 10th of March 2009 in the Town centre of Luton. After having announced in the previous Sunday, 8th March, for volunteers who want to see lives changed by the power of God to join Pastor Tunde to reach out to the drunkards in our town centre.
On the great and rainy day, only one person showed up in the person of Sis Beverly Chakawata. The temptation was to cancel the outing using the rain as an excuse but God ministered to Pastor Tunde that if one person turned up despite the rain that is enough for Him to work with. So off to the Town centre the pair went not knowing what to meet or how to approach the intended people. On the said date three broken and battered people eventually went with them to McDonalds’s Restaurant for a meal.
From that day emerged this great Outreach to the Homeless and people with drink problems in our town. What started as a small seed is now germinating to include twelve people who are twice ministered to with hot food and other necessities of life on a weekly basis, Tuesday and Saturday. The whole church rallied to embrace this outreach with money donations, clothes, shoes, sleeping bags, etc. This new ministry has emerged to become our Hope Arise Outreach.
